Men's Soccer 2005- 2008

Louis is a graduate of the School of Social Science at MSU, earning a B.S. in Sociology (2009) and a graduate of the College of Education at MSU, earning a M.S. in Kinesiology – Sports Administration (2012). Louis earned a four-year athletic scholarship (2005-2008) for the Michigan State Soccer team, ending his career with a regular season and tournament Big Ten Championship.

As an undergrad student, he was a green coat at the MSU Police Department (MSUPD) for all the special events on campus, named Student-Athlete of the Year at the MSUPD for his role as the Level 5 Special Event Student Supervisor, and served as a Mason Bulldogs High School Assistant Coach for the boys’ soccer team.

During the graduate program, Louis began as the Public Announcer for the Michigan State Men’s and Women’s Varsity Soccer teams. He also served as an Assistant Event Manager for MSU Event Management, as well as, the Development Coordinator for the MSU Spartan Fund. Today, Louis works for Applied Flooring, Inc. based out of Mason, MI, as a Business Development Manager. Louis is involved with developing and maintaining business throughout the Midwest. He also serves as the Director of Operations for the NPSL Grand Rapids Football Club.

Louis' passion is for developing and cultivating the minds of our youth to inspire them to reach their full potential. He wants to influence kids at the middle/high school level and teach them how to properly conduct themselves to become future leaders. He believes that shaping the minds of our youth and educating them on work ethics and being respectful, will impact their lives and our communities. He resides in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife Alexandra and daughter Penelope.
