Diane is from Detroit, Michigan and played her junior tennis in Southeastern Michigan. She was ranked in the District and Section for USTA.  Diane attended Redford High School and played on the boy’s tennis team for three years and in her junior year won the Boy’s Regional at #1 Doubles.
 
Diane attended Michigan State University from 1975-1979 and was captain of the Women’s Tennis Team for four years. She received her letter of intent to play at Michigan State University from Dr. Nell Jackson.  Diane won the Big Ten Championships at #1 Doubles in 1976 and #5 Singles in 1978.  She also won the Spartan Invitational at #1 Singles in 1979.  
 
After college Diane has taught tennis for 30 years in Michigan (1), Georgia (1) and Colorado (28).  She has been the Head Tennis Professional at Valley Country Club in Aurora, CO since 1997.
 
Diane has volunteered for over 28 years for the USTA Colorado District, USPTA Intermountain Division, Denver Santa Claus Shop, Save Our Children Society, Colorado Special Olympics and the American Cancer Society where she founded the Kids Cure For Cancer Tennis Tournament which has raised over 100,000 annually.  
 
She was the first woman in the Intermountain to receive her USPTA Master Professional Certification.  She was the USPTA Intermountain Division Pro of the Year in 1989, 2003, 2006 and 2009.  Diane is currently the USPTA Intermountain Division Regional Vice President.
